Welcome to Grade 5!
What an exciting and adventurous school year 2024/2025 is going to be - I can hardly wait! Grade 5 is such a fun place to be. We laugh hard and play hard, and we happen to learn a few things along the way, too. I am very grateful to be a part of the SCA team, I am blessed to be able to teach Grade 5 and thankful for all of the cool kids and families I get to meet in the process. :)
About me, I have been in the classroom since 1992, teaching High School English, Junior High Mathematics, and various other subjects. I consider it God's blessing to allow me to do what I love to do! I took nine years off to raise my children, and wore many hats in that role. I was a mom, but also opened up my home as a day home, worked with online schools, and volunteered for different organizations. My husband and I have two children and are excited that our family continues to grow. We have lived in Sherwood Park since 1999 and call SPAC our home.
I am excited for God’s plan, and for where He takes both my Grade 5 students and me! Please hold us in your prayers this year as we journey through Grade 5 together :)
